Nintendo Working On A New Switch Lite As Per FCC Filings
Nintendo’s latest console, the Switch lite, just released a few days back. However, the response for the console hasn’t been the best, unfortunately. A number of players have been reporting of joy-con drift problems, something which was present in the original Switch as well. That even led to a number of players filing a lawsuit against Nintendo. Amidst all that, a recent FCC filing states that Nintendo is working on a new Switch lite.
In a new filing with the FCC, the company has registered for a new product. The new model has the identification number BKEHDH002. The previous version of the Switch had a different ID number, BKEHDH001. This is a pretty surprising move and it’ll be interesting to see what plans Nintendo has for their new console.
Coming to the joy-con drift problem, the players have been pretty vocal about it. How Nintendo plans to fix it is something that will be interesting to see. If Nintendo plans to swap out the faulty units with the updated version, it’ll be a pretty good news for the owners.
