ONE The way of the word has it that ONE has a new project coming. The notable author of One Punch Man creator who also made Mob Psycho 100 is all set for a new manga project named Versus. ONE gained massive popularity after his web-comic series named One Punch Man hit record-breaking viewership in Japan.
Following this, notable illustrator and artist Yusuke Murata approached him with a project of rebooting One Punch Man. Shueisha’s online platform and website have thus released the digital reboot Manga.
ONE’s journey to Versus
The digital remake of One Punch Man found its way into Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website starting in 2012. So far, all the released chapters of the digital One Punch Man remake by Yusuke Murata and ONE have garnered a total of 27 volumes of books. ONE is actually an alias of the Japanese artist.
ONE has finished the original One Punch Man webcomic if you’re curious. However, Yusuke Murata’s rendition of the digital remake is still continuing, and has more to go.
- Initially ONE serialized his webcomic on his own website. Just like his main character Saitama, ONE can be said to be a comic artist for fun.
- Later on after One Punch Man’s massive success, ONE published Mob Psycho 100 on the online platform of Shueisha once again.
- Mob Psycho came to an end in 2017 following which a spin-off based on the now most popular character, REIGEN was made. His Mob Psycho 100 web manga has again inspired an Anime Adaptation which currently runs its third and final season.
ONE Punch Man creator made Versus a new key visual/poster
Versus key visual features what people naturally have assumed to be the protagonist of the series.
- The character looks human, and hence must be one of the 47 warriors. These warriors will defend Earth’s future against the Demon deities.
- Given that it is ONE’s story, it is undoubtedly that it will be filled to the brim with comical elements.
- But if you’ve seen One Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100 well enough, you’d know that our beloved author knows just how to tear you up. Dimple’s recent sacrifice in Mob Psycho 100 Episode 6 left fans heartbroken.
- The comical element this time seems to be a fairy pig that looks hideously hilarious but has wings on its back.
When does the new Versus one manga release?
Shueisha has scheduled the premiere of ONE’s Versus on November 26, 2022.
This time ONE is teaming up with mangaka Kyoutaro Azuma. The community notes him for his work in King of Fighters and Tenkaichi.
What is One Punch Man Creator’s New Versus Manga going to be about?
ONE’s primary themes in the story seem to revolve around one prime protagonist who is so overpowerful that it doesn’t make sense.
- And one of the straightforward traits of ONE’s story is that he does not describe how his protagonist received their powerups. Given as such, people imagined that his new manga project may follow a similar direction.

The expanse that Versus sets itself up in is actually is based on the premise that 47 strongest warriors of Earth face off against 47 demon warriors. Many sources claim this to be similar to the anime Record of Ragnarok, which isn’t really the anime community’s most beloved show.
- The premise seems like a tournament-style battle royale face-off. Although it is also entirely possible it will feature something like a one-on-one battle, consisting of 47 battles. Given that ONE has involved demons, we must recall his normal strategy –
- ONE has divided the world of One Punch Man into Monsters whereas Mob Psycho 100 follows espers and strong psychic entities. This time, it is something that ONE has not explored before. But it is true that demons do hit close to the game.
