All the hype surrounding Fortnitemares is more than worth it as Epic Games revealed some of the best Halloween skins in Fortnite to be released. Sure, we’ve had a few iconic collaborations with franchises like The Walking Dead, but this year’s Halloween skins take the cake. If you’re having trouble choosing which one to get, here is our top 5 list of the best spooky outfits you can equip in Fortnite this 2023. Check it out!

The Top 5 Halloween Skins in Fortnite (2023)

For this year’s Fortnitemares celebration, players were treated to some spooktacular skins in Fortnite. Aside from releasing new variants for Fortnite original characters like Fishstick and Meowscles, the awesome collaborations for this year’s Halloween celebration are in the spotlight this month.

The game is collaborating with not one, not two, but THREE iconic franchises for the new Halloween skins in Fortnite. We’ll be seeing Michael Myers (Halloween), Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas), and Alan Wake appear in Fortnite in the days leading up to the last day of October.

Both the collaboration and original skins look amazing based on the latest gameplay trailer from Fortnite, so we understand the dilemma you may be facing. Among all of the Halloween skins, which one is actually worth getting and equipping?

1. Michael Myers from Halloween

There is no question that the Michael Myers skin is the must-have this Halloween in Fortnite. Before he was officially revealed as one of the collab skins for Fortnitemares, many players already wished for either Michael Myers or Ghostface from Scream to arrive on the Island. Now that he’s here, imagine the terror you’ll cause around the Island as you run around with Michael Myers and his terrifying mask.

Among all the best Halloween skins in Fortnite, this is our favorite, and it’s not only because of how scary he is but because of the fact that you can now make Michael Myers hit the griddy in Fortnite!

2. Bogstick

The second best skin you can use to celebrate Halloween in Fortnite is a variant of Fishstick, one of the most popular original characters in Epic’s battle royale game. Bogstick caught our eyes the first time this skin was posted on leak accounts, and since then, he’s become one of our favorite Fortnite skins ever.

You’d think Fortnite would stick to releasing cutesy outfits to cater to a younger audience, but both Michael Myers and Bogstick are proof enough that gamers of all ages can enjoy Fortnite. If you especially like frightening creatures from creepy places like bogs or swamps, Bogstick is your guy.

3. Jack Skellington

Ranking third among the best Halloween skins in Fortnite is the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington! He’s definitely one of the best skins you can get during the Fortnitemares celebration this year. Though his movie was originally released in 1993, he remains one of the most iconic Halloween characters 30 years later.

If you’re a big fan of the movie, getting him is a great way of celebrating the movie’s 30th anniversary on October 29, 2023! His bundle also reportedly includes a Christmas outfit, so you’re hitting two birds with one stone here.

4. Phantom Meowscles

Another one of the best Halloween skins in Fortnite would be Phantom Meowscles, a variant of Fortnite’s original character who’s a ripped cat who can stand on two legs.

This Halloween, he’s undergone a massive makeover, and instead of his iconic :3 face, Meowscles is decked in all-black with a sinister smile across his face and two white holes in place of his eyes.

5. Seth

The last outfit on our list is a new character Epic Games is introducing. He goes by the name of Seth, and if none of the skins we’ve included in this list are up to your liking, then we highly suggest checking out this mummified character.

Seth was able to secure a spot on our list of the best Halloween skins in Fortnite because of how his whole look screams Halloween.

How to get the best Halloween skins in Fortnite

If you want to score eliminations in style and send your enemies running away in terror, these Halloween skins in Fortnite will most likely be available in the Item Shop in the coming days.

It’s best if you set aside enough V-Bucks, and based on previous event-themed outfits, these skins will cost you about 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks.
