Merry Christmas!
Holidays are here and so are outages for gamers. Players associated with PlayStation Network and Nintendo eShop services are facing several problems like connecting to online services, redeeming games and vouchers. Good thing, both Sony and Nintendo are aware of the complications and are constantly working on fixing them.
Ask PlayStation – the official Twitter support account for PlayStation services – said that they are aware of the issues and investigations are being made.
We’re aware that some users are having issues redeeming vouchers on PSN. Thank you for your patience as we investigate. Please be sure to follow us for further news and updates.

Although the tweet mentions only about the ‘issues redeeming vouchers on PSN’, players have been reporting about issues related to connection issues as well.
Nintendo America has apologized for the issues and promises a fix very soon.
We apologize for any issues you may be experiencing with Nintendo eShop. We are working on it and hope to have this resolved soon.
