The PlayStation Summer Sale is in high gear! This week’s selection of special discount titles is even longer. As if the tens of thousands of dollars in savings wasn’t enough. Up to this point, the sales have only been available on the PlayStation Store in the United Kingdom and the European Union, but equivalent offers are expected to show up on the North American storefront afterward.

- Sony Corp. disclosed a 26.3%Â increase in first-quarter operating profit, owing to continued pandemic-related demand for their PS5Â gaming system.
- Sony increased its profit estimate for the fiscal year ending March 2022 to 980 billion yen, up from 930 billion yen previously. The median approximation of 25 analysts was around 1 billion yen, which was lower than the forecast.
