Performance issues
Just a few hours after its release, players have been vocal about the server issues and the bugs present in the game. Here are the following issues that concerned the players.
- Server: One of the causes of delays of PROJECT: Playtime would be the server issues. However, until its launch date, the same problem occurred. The developers have been quick to aid as they continually resolve this issue by scaling up their servers.

Due to the overwhelming amount of players in Project Playtime we are currently scaling up our servers so people can make purchases.
In the meantime purchases have been temporarily disabled.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will notify everyone when purchases are restored.

- Bugs: While some can’t enter the game, some have been facing another problem while playing. Some players shared about not being able to gain XP points because of a bug.
- Another possible bug that players ask is about the unadjusted graphic resolutions. Some say it’s too laggy and has too many glitches while playing.
It’s so glitching but it’s like only Youtubers play it like super clean but when we play it it’s like lagging and this is the third time I had to reset it so by tomorrow I’m hoping the Dalles can reach our letters or messages of how it’s in going for a long time

- There is also a Toybox bug that has been circulating too. A newly added monster, Boxy Boo, offers a new game feature as well. Microtransactions and somehow pay-to-win mechanics for this recently released game. However, this has been raised for a while due to server issues as well.
- Numerous rants about the game crashing are what noticed too. However, everyone should remember that this Early Access is also a Beta Version. The full name is yet to be released by next year. Fortunately, the developers are hands-on and focused on bringing the game to its best for the players.
How to download it?
In its Early Access Beta Version, the device available for play would only be a PC. Moreover, you can only download the game on one platform — Steam.
- Don’t worry, if you want to try the game, then be PROJECT: Playtime’s guest. The game is free-to-play, except for the part where there are in-game transactions, but getting the game is totally free!

- PROJECT: PLAYTIME is a free-to-play multiplayer horror game where six players attempt to create one giant toy while surviving a terrifying monster that roams the toy factory. A seventh player controls the monster and is given only one goal: Find and kill everyone.
