PS5 Official Page Removes 2020 Release Window
In an interesting turn of events Sony has removed the 2020 release window for the PS5 from the official PS5 page. Earlier, the page mentioned “Launches holiday 2020”, and the same can be seen from the web archive link of the page. Recently, the Sony PS5 reveal event in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests happening in the United States of America.
Considering the fact that there are various challenges involved with the supply chain and development due to the coronavirus pandemic, we might as well not see either of the consoles releasing this year. While both Sony and Microsoft have emphasized the fact that they will be releasing the console this year only despite the challenges being faced by them, considering the unpredictability of the situation across the world nothing can be said right now.
