PS5: You’ll be able to track individual trophy progress
PlayStation has announced changes in the trophy progress system for PS4 and PS5. According to a new piece of information, you’ll be able to track your trophy progress towards earning individual trophies on the PS5.
The information comes from PlayStation France’s blog, where it mentions –
On PlayStation 5, you will be able to track your progress towards earning individual trophies for compatible PS5 games. For example, sometimes you’ll see how many artifacts you have left to collect, or how many armor upgrades you need to get before unlocking the Trophy.
Along with that, trophies you acquired on older PlayStation systems will automatically transfer to your PlayStation 5 system as well. The blog writes –
Finally, for the avoidance of doubt, note that Trophies you acquired on old PlayStation systems will automatically transfer to your PlayStation 5, as was the case with previous intergenerational transitions. The new Trophy Tiers will be reflected in all environments featuring Trophy Tiers, such as legacy systems, the PlayStation App, and My PlayStation.
Update: The blog removed the information. What do we think? Maybe it wasn’t supposed to be revealed yet.
