Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Specs Revealed; Is Surprisingly Moderate in Nature
PC gamers all around the world rejoiced when they heard that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be coming to the PC. There had been signs placed intelligently (or rather bluntly) by Rockstar Games to tease the upcoming PC port of the successor to one of their best open-world games possible – which include leaks from the Rockstar Games Social Club code, the official companion app for the game as well as the main site for Rockstar Games itself. It seems that the leaks haven’t stopped yet, as the predicted specifications for the game have been leaked too.
The game demands a GTX 770 or an R9 380 with a Core i5 2500k or an FX 6300 as the bare minimum for running it. Both the 6300 and the 2500k are quite old by nature, as are the 770 and the 380. The recommended requirements demand a GTX 1060 (the 6GB variant) or an RX 480 (the 4GB variant) with a Core i7 4770k and a Ryzen 5 1500X, which is surprisingly reminiscent of most present-gen games. Grand Theft Auto 5 also had pretty ambitious requirements, and its PC port turned out to be quite well-optimized by nature.
The game’s up for preorder for a price of 4199 INR (80$) for the Ultimate Edition on the Rockstar Store.
