Remnant 2: Lament Dial Puzzle | How to Solve

Remnant 2 is out and gaining quite the reputation for its inclusion of complicated puzzles that require some serious head scratching if you want to solve them. The Consort’s Puzzle involving a dial is one such mechanism located in the area named Lament within the game. Feel free to go through this article as we are going to explain the procedure to solve it. We will also be listing some of the items exclusive to this in-game region.

Remnant 2: Solving the Lament Dial Puzzle

• You are going to find the aforementioned puzzle within the Lament area that is located in the sub-region The Forbidden Grove under Yaesha.
• Keep in mind that this particular puzzle is procedurally generated i.e. the solution for the puzzle is going to vary from player to player. It is impossible to copy the exact process from another player. As a result, you will need to rely on the rules and methods in order to solve it.

• You are going to encounter a dial mechanism like this. You will need to interact with it in order to overcome the obstacle and get through the door.

• At first, you will need to look for a book containing the necessary symbol. This book will randomly spawn in an area close to the puzzle. After you find it, memorize the symbol drawn in it.

• In a close proximity, you are going to come across multiple mummified corpses that are draped in blankets. You will need to locate the corpses with the identical symbol drawn on their blankets from the book. When locating them, memorize the symbols painted right above them on the walls.

• Return to the dial and input the 4 corresponding symbols from those blankets into it. The symbols should align in a top to bottom/ bottom to top manner. The order of the symbols does not seem to matter, so you can put them in any order.
• This is going to solve the dial puzzle in the Lament within Remnant 2 and open up the door for you in order to progress. There is a high chance that you are going to get the Blood Tinged Ring as a reward after this.

Items located in the Lament

The Lament is an in-game area brimming with various items and loots. If you can overcome the obstacles inside the dungeon, you will obtain the following rewards.

• Scavenger’s Bauble
• Kolket’s Razor
• Overdrive
• Red Widow Raiment
• Red Widow Bracers
• Red Widow Headdress
• Red Widow Leggings
• Ring of Diversion
• Berserker’s Crest
• Spirit Stone
• Blood Tinged Ring
• Lodestone Crown

You are also likely to come across the optional boss named the Wither in this area. So, be prepared and careful in your journey across the Lament.
