Darksiders 3 developer Gunfire Games has announced a new survival, monster-killing shooter – Remnant: From Ashes.
Remnant: From Ashes is a third-person survival shooter, which will feature four-player co-op, set on a post-apocalyptic Earth. You will fight against weird and humungous monsters, some of which are trees that can walk.
The Chinese video game giant Perfect World will be publishing the game for Playstation 4, Xbox One and of course, our favourite platform, PC. The announcement trailer shows several areas/maps to play in, with a wide range of weapons and machinery.
We aren’t sure if the game will ship with some story elements, but with what the trailer offers, we’re sure to see some throughout the game.
“Some of the last humans with the way they live are monsters too”, the narrator says in a contemplated voice. “The rest of us hold our own, but the root keeps coming.”
Remnant: From Ashes is set to release in 2019. If you’re planning on visiting Gamescom and PAX West this year, you’ll get your hands-on earlier than anyone else.
