Remedy Entertainment is apparently working on a Doctor Strange game

Gamers know Remedy Entertainment as the team behind mind-boggling games like Alan Wake, Control, and Max Payne. Although these are just rumors, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea for Remedy Entertainment to take on this project. Because Doctor Strange leans more into the sci-fi aspect of comic book superheroes, it’s a bit exciting thinking of how he would fit into a video game. Besides, Doctor Strange is ‘Strange’ for a few reasons.

In the tweet above, Moth Culture claims that Remedy Entertainment is developing a Doctor Strange video game for current-gen consoles. Moreover, Moth Culture reports that it would be revealed at this year’s E3 conference. The official announcement and a sneak peek of the gameplay may premiere at the E3.

Multiple sources claim that a Doctor Strange game is in the works

Although the most recent rumor about this title came from Moth Culture, there have been multiple sources saying the same thing as them. For those familiar with Moth Culture, there were times in the past when they’d release claims about upcoming games. But then those claims would be debunked, causing gamers to always take their claims with a grain of salt.

However, Evan Filarca made the same claims over a year ago. If you’re unfamiliar with Filarca, they are known for knowing insider info about things related to Marvel and DC. In this case, it might be worth believing that a Doctor Strange game is actually in the works if it came from a more reliable source like Filarca.

But as always, we should take information like this with a grain of salt. Remedy is still working on a few projects of their own, so all we can do now is wait for this year’s E3. Maybe by then, we’ll get an announcement or a teaser that would hint at a Doctor Strange game coming to current-gen consoles.
