Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce seems to be hitting it on and off the field after being linked to one of the biggest pop icons today, Taylor Swift. Rumors are spreading on the internet that Kelce might be the new “father” to the Swifties following the report that they are somehow spending time with each other. But are Travis and Taylor really dating?

According to The Messenger, a source told them the two celebrities have been “quietly hanging out.” According to the unnamed source, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift had a meetup in New York when the famous singer was in the city a few weeks ago.

A couple of months before the recent rumors, in July, Kelce tried his luck by trying to give his phone number to Taylor Swift. The NFL star attempted to send a bracelet with his numbers showing on the beads. This happened during the height of Swift’s The Eras Tour. Unfortunately, the pop star was not able to accept the homemade present from the athlete. In an episode of the Kelce brothers’ (Jason and Travis) podcast called New Heights, the two discussed Travis’ failed attempt to get Taylor’s attention.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce explained on the podcast.

Although neither Kelce nor Swift has come to the public to confirm nor deny the rumor, it seems both are happy. As of right now, their status is still unknown and is still private. There are also some supporting reports from the internet that Taylor Swift has been going to some unknown places. On the other hand, Travis and Jason Kelce talked about Taylor Swift on their podcast again about a week ago, which was a bit intriguing.

After the rumor that the two could be dating spread like wildfire, it didn’t take long for fans of both celebrities to react.

Travis Kelce isn’t trending because of the NFL, nor is Taylor Swift making waves due to The Eras Tour concert. Twitter (X) was filled with mixed reactions about the possibility of Travis, 33, and Taylor, 33, becoming the next power couple. If we all remember, the two-time Super Bowl champ was in a long-time relationship with model and broadcaster Kayla Nicole. Meanwhile, the award-winning artist has had many relationships in the past. It’s also worth noting that Taylor was also previously linked with another famous athlete, Los Angeles Lakers’ star Austin Reaves.
