Sengoku BASARA Producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi Teases Something For May 14th
Long-time Capcom programmer turned producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi has teased something for May 14th, the details of which are currently unknown.
The producer who has worked on all Sengoku BASARA games(loosely based on real events of the titular Sengoku period in the history of feudal Japan) and numerous Resident Evil games tweeted earlier today teasing something for May 14th. He wrote(loosely translated), “It’s 3 days until 12:00 on May 14th. Please look forward to it!”
Recently, a wide array of BASARA merch has been in circulation throughout Japan. Additionally, on the occasion of the series’ 10th anniversary, 2011’s The Last Party is scheduled to be screened at SMT Shinjuku on May 22nd.
Although there’s nothing we know what Kobayashi and his team are planning to reveal, we speculate it’s of some importance. Kobayashi had tweeted the date on May 9th as well, where he wrote, “I’m looking forward to Tuesday, May 14th! Five more days!!”
It could be something related to Sengoku BASARA, Resident Evil or something else. Stay tuned to find out.
