Sengoku Dynasty Drops CGI Trailer (Gameplay, Release Date, and More)

BY John Micheal Agustin 4 years AGO 3 MIN READ

A new game is about to take up the gauntlet against some of the newest games today – Sengoku Dynasty!

The game’s official trailer just dropped a few days ago and it already looks awesome. The details and graphics are jaw-dropping and will put you in awe. It somehow gives that Sekiro or Ghost of Tsushima vibes, but it actually is a different type of game.

Sengoku Dynasty is created by Toplitz Productions, a company that is also responsible for some of the best city-builder simulator games like Medieval Dynasty and Wild West Dynasty.

GAMEPLAY

Sengoku Dynasty is an upcoming sandbox city-builder game that takes place in feudal Japan. It’s a cross-genre because not only it is a city-builder game, it also has those RPG and survival elements to it. Build your village, protect your people from danger and savages, and build your dynasty in a war-torn Japan.

At the beginning of the game, you will start as a lowly peasant. Then, you will slowly climb the ranks and aim to become a ruler. There are actually four paths you can choose: leader; craftsman; warrior; monk.

It also includes a co-op mode, but the details of that are still unknown.

PLATFORMS

As announced, Sengoku Dynasty will only be available on PC. Hopefully, the developers would take this game to consoles in the future.

Based on Toplitz replies to some players’ requests, they may take it there soon.

RELEASE DATE

The originally planned release date is this year, 2022. There was no mention of a certain month, but it looks like it’s getting near since they already dropped a teaser trailer. But, don’t get your hopes up yet!

WHAT TO EXPECT

It certainly is not a game like Sekiro or Ghost of Tsushima. It’s a city-building game, which means you will build castles, villages, farms, or whatever you want to thrive in the game. It’s one of the first of its kind (a Japan-inspired city-building game with an RPG touch), and people are already loving it!
