The newest instalment in the long-running Halo series, Halo Infinite, is planned for a Holiday 2020 release, claims a new source. According to them and as confirmed by 343 Industries, we will see more information regarding Halo Infinite and the game’s progress at E3 this year.
As claimed by NeoGAF user Braldryr, who has provided ten images to solidify their claims and credibility, Microsoft will push out a great amount of information regarding Halo Infinite at their E3 panel along with a new trailer. The game is currently planned for a Holiday 2020 release, which will be available cross-gen (most likely the upcoming Xbox console).
Halo 2 was the last game in the franchise to be released for PC. It wasn’t until March 13th of this year when Microsoft finally announced the Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Steam. Almost 14 years later, Microsoft confirmed that Halo Infinite will come to PC (Windows 10) alongside Xbox One (and most probably their next Xbox console) at release. 343 boss Bonnie Ross confirmed they’ll be showing more of the game at E3 next month.
Spiel Times has contacted Braldryr personally to provide us with more information for credibility and to solidify the statement they made. We’ll update this article when and if they respond.
