About SpaceX
An entrepreneur, Elon Musk, founded this privately funded company, SpaceX, which was able to put cargo in Earth orbit in 2008. While in 2017, the company won a contract with NASA where their astronauts are allowed to fly the cargo vehicles.
In 2010, SpaceX was able to send cargo into orbit and successfully return to Earth wholly. They made it possible despite being the first private company to launch payload. Moreover, SpaceX’s mission control is located in Hawthorne, California.
Additionally, Elon Musk’s main goal is to fly people to Mars. A huge amount of money, of course, for your seats. This is quite an unusual goal unless he and his company can make it work. Let’s move on to the latest launch.
SpaceX’s SES-22 Launch
On June 29th at 5:04 P.M. EST, SpaceX successfully launched the rocket holding the communications satellite to geosynchronous transfer orbit on this 27th launch of the Falcon 9. The launch took place from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
This is Falcon 9, or booster 1073’s second flight, making May 14th its first launch on the same launch complex (SLC-40) where it launched one Starlink mission. It was only 46 days from Falcon 9’s first flight. Moreover, it followed the usual path for satellites as it is launched on an eastbound trajectory. The SES Satellite
Thales Alenia Space builds the first of SES’s C-band satellites that are specifically made to free up the lower 300 MHz to give space in the C-band spectrum to give space for wireless connectivity. A portion of this SES-22 launch is part of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in deploying 5G services across the CONUS or the contiguous US.
This leads to the satellite operators adjusting their services from a lower 300 MHz to the upper 200 MHz for the deployment of the 5G services mandated by the FCC. In addition, SES-22 starts its operations in the earlier part of August 2022.
