Star Wars Jedi Survivor is catching a lot of attention all around the world for its gameplay, character development, and fierce bosses. In addition to all of these one of the things that stands out in Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the ability to tame creatures and turn them into mounts. In this guide, we will help you how to get these mounts in Star Wars Jedi Survivor and how you can use them.
What are Mounts?
Since you are going to be traveling a lot through the forest, jungles, and valleys in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, the game has been generous to make this exploration easy by letting the players tame beautiful creatures to be used as mounts. Currently, there are 3 mounts that we know exist in the game. These are the 3 mounts that currently exist:
- Relter
- Nekko
- Spamel
How to get Mounts in Star Wars Jedi Survivor?
Relter

The Relter is the first mount you will be able to tame in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. This mount will make your exploration through the rainforest of Koboh easier as you will be able to glide through it. Furthermore, Relter cannot be summoned and you will have to mount it at certain allocated spots.
How to tame: As you continue your progress in the game up to Basalt Rainforest, you will come across this beautiful creature, Relter on the edge of a cliff. Furthermore, you will be given the option to tame it. Easy, isn’t it? Also, after this any Relter you come across will be tamed by default and you can just grab onto its feet.
Nekko

It is another creature that can be tamed in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. It is native to Koboh and thus can only be used on this planet. Unlike Relter, Nekko can be called upon to your spot although it is specific to the areas you are in. In addition to being cute, Nekko can be useful as they can increase your movement speed. They can also help you climb up slippery terrain.
How to tame: On clearing The Forest Array segment of the game, you will come across these creatures. It will give you the option to tame it. You can make it your pet if you fall in love with a specific one. You can do so by storing it in the Stables at Rambler’s Reach Outpost.
Spammel

It is a long-legged creature that looks like a camel and we suppose that’s the reason behind its name. They are native to the desert landscape of Jedha (another similarity to camels?). These creatures provide increased movement speed, thanks to their long legs!
How to tame: You will be able to tame a Spammel as your main story progresses to the exploration of Jedha. You will experience a prompt where the land cruiser will break down. It is during that scene, you will be able to tame one of these. These mounts can be called upon for help when you are in the desert.
Use of Mounts?
- Mounts can help reach places in a much easier and faster way.
- You can use them in combats, which can help you get a ranged advantage as it would be harder for your opponents to hit you.
- Mounts look cool especially when you can sit on them through the combats, and for me, it’s the best use of a mount!
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor definitely feels like a true next gen game.
