Universal Studios announces its frightening plans for Halloween Horror Nights’ special. They will once again collaborate with the popular Netflix series Stranger Things for the haunted house. Fans were eagerly awaiting to re-experience the scary houses based on the series following the success of Stranger Things-based haunted houses at HHN in 2018 and 2019.
As per the announcement of Universal Studios, the upcoming Halloween Horror Nights’ special haunted house will immerse its visitors into the ‘mind-bending twists and supernatural terrors of Stranger Things Season 4‘. Read ahead to find out more about its locations and ticketing schedule.
What to expect from Universal Studious x Stranger Things 4 Halloween Horror Nights’ special haunted house
Universal Studios’ announcement disclosed things visitors can expect before visiting this year’s haunted house. The studio promises to once again transport its visitors to the eerie town of Hawkins, Indiana, for a spine-tingling experience.
- In this thrilling journey, the visitors will encounter the latest and most powerful antagonist Vecna. The villain is determined to destroy the borders protecting the real world from the inhuman activities of the Upside Down world.
- Vecna’s sinister objective is to dominate the world, and guests will find themselves in the front rows of this wicked assault on the unknowing citizens of Hawkins. The Stranger Things 4 haunted house will also introduce the visitors to the iconic scenes of the series, including Hawkins Lab, the mysterious Creel House, and Vecna’s frightening mind lair.

The Halloween Special haunted house will feature iconic characters Eleven, Max, Eddie, and other creatures like demo bats. However, the true bone-chilling highlight of the house will be the antagonist, Vecna.

The Stranger Things 4 special haunted house will be an attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resorts Halloween Horror Nights. The event is an exclusive experience open only on certain nights and requires a special pass separate from the standard theme park tickets.
Universal Studios has only disclosed three house themes: Stranger Things 4, The Last of Us, and Chucky. However, the Horror Nights’ haunted house will open for 40 nights from September until Halloween 2023. Check out all the dates below:

The ticket cost range depends on the package, but the Universal Orlando tickets begin at $79.99 while the Universal Studios Hollywood starts at $74. Visitors can select from Single Night Tickets General Admission, Universal Express, Universal Express Unlimited, After 2 PM day/night, and After 2 PM day/night Universal Express.
- The visitors may also purchase R.I.P Tour and Halloween Horror Nights’ early access tickets. At the same time, Frequent Fear Pass and Ultimate Fear Pass can be bought under Multi-Night Passes. The tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. So, visitors are advised to check all the details thoroughly from the official website before the event begins at 7 PM.
