Summer Game Fest 2021: All Game Release Announcements

Summer Games Fest has wowed us with a slew of major announcements and reveals, including the eagerly anticipated Elden Ring and Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 updates. If you missed the live show, we’ve compiled a list of all the Summer Games Fest revelations for you!

Elden Ring

Elden Ring’s first proper peek ever since the initial unveiling in 2019 did not hold back. The highly anticipated game, which is a partnership between From Software and author George R. R. Martin, has received a new teaser with details on the game’s universe, narrative, and combat, including a new launch date!

Evil Dead: The Game

Evil Dead: The Game, from Saber Interactive, is a 4-player co-op game that was first revealed at the end of 2020 and is now expected to release this 2021. It’s four survivors versus numerous unearthly evil and Deadites, with a variety of close combat weapons and firearms at your discretion, as well as automobiles!

Lost Ark

Lost Ark, a Diablo-style MMO, is arriving in the West, which is a shock to the gaming community. Call of Duty Warzone (Season 4)

A new teaser for Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s next season has arrived, featuring a new operator in a short theatrical before all hope is lost. Fans of Treyarch will be pleased to learn that the well-liked map Hijacked is returning, while Warzone gamers got a sneak peek at a few of the new features coming to Verdansk this season.

Salt and Sacrifice

Shuhei Yoshida, the head of PlayStation indies, made an unexpected appearance to unveil a Soulslike Salt and Sanctuary spinoff. It’s another eerie, pretty unsettling 2D action-platformer, however this time the co-op features will be prioritized, with online multiplayer included.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, a standalone spin-off from Borderlands, takes the series into high fictional territory. There will be alchemy, dragons, and plenty of Tiny Tina swagger. You’ll be on a trip to annihilate the Dragon Lord with all of your acquaintances.

Solar Ash

The developer of Hyper Light Drifter, Heart Machine, has released a new teaser for Solar Ash. It featured an aerial, laser-breathing monstrosity and gave us a decent view of the game’s stunning neon-infused aesthetic as well as a closer look at just how combat will operate.

Metal Slug Tactics

The Peregrine Falcon Squad will be led by Marco, Eri, Fio, and Tarma in Metal Slug Tactics, which was the second game to receive attention. Sky – The Little Prince Season

Sky will be released on Nintendo Switch on June 29th, preceded by the endearing Le Petit Prince season on July 6th.

The third installment of the Dark Pictures Anthology received a new trailer, which clearly displayed its Descent influences.

Bloodhunt

Vampire: The Masquerade: Battle Royale is a brand new tournament set in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade. On the top of buildings, a variety of vampire types compete to be appointed victor of the human meal.

Jurassic World Evolution 2

Frontier’s outstanding dinosaur amusement park simulator is returning, with Jeff Goldblum claiming that the title would be “deeper and more expansive” than the classic.  Plan to proceed to attempt to manage some of the world’s most hazardous and extinct lifeforms.

Planet of Lana

Planet of Lana is an impending game that stars a little cat/soot sprite critter in a side-scrolling hand-drawn journey that has Limbo x Ori vibes.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

The world has a lighter, more caricatured art style than the mainstream Monster Hunter titles, with a huge emphasis on the story. However, Monster Hunter is undeniably present. Rathalos, Nergigante, and a slew of other dragon-like monsters were seen soaring through the skies and wreaking havoc.

Endless Dungeon

It’s a roguelike in which you’re stranded on a strange space station. To get out, you’ll need to enlist the help of other heroes and defend your crystal from the onslaught of monsters.

Escape From Tarkov

Escape from Tarkov: Streets of Tarkov has a new map, according to the latest teaser released by Battlestate Games. The new map, which is set in an urban setting with narrow roads and high rises, represents a substantial change in the gameplay approach, as most maps in the closed beta are assigned in rural or industrial sectors with far less shield.

Back 4 Blood

A huge muscly aggressor from the impending first-person shooter. We’ve been seeing even more of the game as it gets closer to launch, and as the teaser validates, if you pre-order a copy, you’ll be eligible to get early access to the open beta and test it out for yourself starting August 5.

Tribes of Midgard

Norsfell Games and Gearbox have released a new trailer for Tribes of Midgard! It’s a survival RPG in which your tribe starts from the ground up, needing to hunt to improve their gear and protect themselves from the creatures that stalk the night.

Valorant

Riot provided only the tiniest glimpses of Valorant’s next agent, who will debut with the release of the shooter’s 3rd episode. At this moment, the showcase offers almost nothing besides a cybernetic-looking headgear and perhaps some armor, but it’ll be intriguing to watch how the newcomer fits into the game’s current roster.

Stranger Things x Smite

Eleven and Hopper will be entering the game to wreak havoc, as will the harrowing Demogorgon and The Mind Flayer. They’ll both bring their own set of abilities to Smite, as well as two different costumes. There’s also a new Upside Down arena where fans can fully immerse themselves in the Netflix series’ world.

Fast and Furious x Rocket League

Deviation Games

The team’s first project is shrouded in mystery, but the duo seemed ecstatic while speaking with Keighley on stage, and we do know that it’s being developed in collaboration with PlayStation. It’s unclear whether this means we’ll get another major PS5 exclusive!
