The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom is an action-adventure game and is a sequel to Breath of the Wild. The game takes place in Hyrule and follows similar gameplay to its prequel. In addition, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom also includes various unlockable items and rewards using the Amiibo figurines. Here is all you need to know about it.
What are Amiibos in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Using Amiibo in the game rewards players with different items and cosmetic enhancements. However, you need to make sure that the figurine is compatible with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for it to work.
How to use Amiibos in the game
Using Amiibos in Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom should be similar to how they were used in Breath of Wild. If this is your first time playing the game or scanning an Amiibo, follow the steps below:
- Go to the pause menu, and find the “Save and Load” option on the screen.
- Once you find it, navigate through the “Options” to find one that says Amiibo.
- Change the option to “Use Amiibo”.
- You now have Amiibo Functionality in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
- After you have enabled this function, change your Ability to Amiibo.
- For the final step, you will need to scan your Amiibo figurine with your Nintendo Switch controller. To do this, hover your Amiibo figurine over the right joystick.
