Top 10 Most Googled Person 2023 – Ranked
The list of the most searched people on Google is constantly changing and evolving, reflecting the changing interests and trends of the general public. They can vary greatly depending on current events and popular culture. The list often includes some influential names as well as some of the most controversial ones. As 2023 begins, let’s take a look at the top 10 most Googled persons and rank them.
1st: Johnny Depp
Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp takes the top position in the list of top 10 most Googled people as 2023 begins. This is mainly thanks to the highly publicized defamation lawsuit trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. The controversy surrounding the case continues to be a subject of public debate and speculation.
2nd: Will Smith
Will Smith made it to the headlines of the 94th Academy Awards in March 2022 for both the right and the wrong reasons. The superstar won his first ever Best Actor Oscar for King Richard, but he overshadowed his own victory when he slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage for joking about his wife’s alopecia.
3rd: Amber Heard
Two of the top three in the most Googled persons before 2023 come from the same defamation lawsuit trial. Johnny Depp’s ex-wife and actress Amber Heard accused Depp of domestic abuse, which led to a highly publicized and controversial legal battle.

4th: Vladimir Putin
Russian president Vladimir Putin became the most searched politician on Google for the year as well as one of the most Googled persons in 2022.
Putin practically declared war against Ukraine which shifted the global political scenario. It comes as no surprise that he makes it to this list.
5th: Chris Rock
Another position on this list that is related to the same incident at the 94th Academy Awards. Comedian Chris Rock’s joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair calling her GI Jane 2 did not sit well with her husband, Will Smith. The result was an incident of public embarrassment.

6th: Novak Djokovic
Arguably, the greatest tennis player of all time with 22 Grand Slam titles, Novak Djokovic made it to the news for an unusual reason. The Serb had refused to take a vaccine, and this barred him from playing at the Australian Open, a competition he practically rules.

On October 5, 2022, Sorokin was granted a $10,000 bail bond and released from prison. But it was her Netflix series Inventing Anna that led to the influx of searches for her on Google.
8th: Andrew Tate
Known for his misogynistic remarks, Andrew Tate is easily the most controversial figure in this list of Top 10 most Googled persons before 2023.
