Rules for the Twitch Rivals x Riot Games Summer Rumble 2022
According to Esports News UK, “each team will earn Rumble Points based on their final finishing position in each game. Once the event concludes on the third day, as previously mentioned, the team with the most Rumble Points will become the 2022 Summer Rumble Champion.”
Every match will matter as all teams will have Rumble Points that would secure a spot from the 1st to the 10th place.
Rules for VALORANT and League of Legends

- The first and second days of the VALORANT and League of Legends competition will use a double-round robin format. In particular, the teams will be split into two groups of five people. They will play a round of BO1 matches each day until they have played in their group twice.
- Quoting from the same article, “in a twist on last year, the teams sitting out during each round of the group stage will play a non-conference match against each other. While this will not count towards their final group position, the outcome of non-conference games will be taken into consideration in the event of a tie.”
- Unfortunately, only the Top 4 best-performing teams will progress to the Finals Bracket by the end of day two. The remaining six teams will be in the Placement Bracket.
The rule for Teamfight Tactics (TFT)

- While the competition for TFT will be a bit different from usual. For the first day, players will compete for Rating Points based on their finishing positions in five rotating lobbies. Definitely, it will create distinct dynamics as each lobby will have two players from each team.
- The Rating Points earned by players on each team are added together by the end of the first day. Again, the top four teams with the most points will progress to the finals bracket and the last six will be in the placement bracket.
On day two, points will reset and the final four teams will compete against themselves. Payers will again earn points based on their individual finishing position. The same rule applies from the first day, each player’s points are added together to show the final standings of the top 4.
Finally, the teams under the Placement Bracket will play by the same rules to determine each team’s final standings. These standings will also determine their chance to have consolation Rumble Points.
Prizes for the fans tuning in

- Of course, there will also be prizes awaiting for players who will be watching the tournament! For this year, they will get the chance to win a League of Legends Summoner Icon or a Valorant Gun Buddy.
- Both Twitch and Riot will release a link during the stream on August 24th, Wednesday. Unfortunately, this giveaway will only be limited so fans should be able to visit the link and redeem the prize as fast as they can.
