K Coins are your lifeline in You Will Die Here Tonight. Collecting these coins is crucial, as they allow you to continue your game even if all survivors on your team meet their demise. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find all the K Coins I came across in my first playthrough and give you some tips on how to get them.
K Coin Location #1: Lab Awakening
Where to Find It: During your first playthrough, after a strange turn of events, you will find yourself waking up inside a lab. You will be in control of Dr. Katherine Olsson, and she will provide you with the first K Coin of the game, which she takes out of her pocket.
K Coin Location #2: East Stairwell
Where to Find It: The second K Coin can be found in the East Stairwell. Look for it on the bar table with candles, just to the left side of the Butterfly Room. Simply grab it from the table.
K Coin Location #3: Alchemy Storage
Where to Find It: As you progress in the game, you will eventually obtain a key from an angel statue. This key opens locked rooms inside the mansion. Head to the west side of the dungeon/basement and use the key to access the locked alchemy storage. The third K Coin is right on top of a wooden barrel in the middle of the alchemy storage.
K Coin Location #4: West Wing of the Garden Maze
Where to Find It: To find your next K Coin, head over to the West Wing of the Garden. When you go into the maze on the right/East, make sure you follow the path and go north. At the top, make a left turn and keep following the trail. As you move through the winding paths, you’ll eventually get to the lever area. But before you pull the lever, take a little detour. At the end of the maze, on the west side, you’ll discover yet another precious K Coin. You won’t get lost as there are only two paths in the west area (as far as I remember), so it is not that difficult to find.
