Trust me, you’re in for a world of hurt in this game, especially when facing this eight-legged nightmare. In this guide, I’ll share my simple strategy for beating it.
Strategy Tips
Before you even think about tackling this boss, you gotta make sure your gear is complete because this boss has a ridiculous amount of health. Here’s what you need:
Gear You Need
- Med Kits
- Magnum Revolver
- Grenade Launcher
- Shield
Yeah, you read that right. You’ll need all of this stuff if you want a shot at defeating the Giant Attic Spider. It almost wiped out my whole team!
But wait, there’s more. You’ll have to face this nasty spider not once but twice!
First Step: Taking Down the Giant Attic Spider
Alright, here’s the deal on how to take down this beast in the first round:
- Grenade Launcher: Right at the start of the fight, blast the spider right in the face with your grenade launcher. This will make it flurry sideways or maybe jump.
- Switch to Your Shield: As the spider hides, quickly switch to your shield. You’re gonna need it to keep yourself safe.
- Web Attack: When that pesky spider shows its ugly face again, it’ll shoot webs at you. If you get tangled up, don’t panic; get rid of that web ASAP. If you’re too slow, the giant attic spider will make you pay.
- Shield Defense and Counterattack: If the spider comes at you, use your shield to defend/push it away, and then hit back with your grenade launcher (assuming you’ve got another shot ready). If not, pull out your trusty Magnum Revolver.
Keep at it!
When you’ve got the boss down, don’t stop shooting because these game bosses play dirty. Even when they’re down, they’ve still got some health left. Keep that in mind, or you might meet the same fate I did – an early grave for your character. If you’ve been successful, the Giant Attic Spider will retreat. Head back to the lab to restock and get ready for Phase 2.
Phase 2: Stay Cool and Be Patient
In Phase 2, stick to the same plan, but here’s the deal – be patient. Don’t fire the grenade launcher twice in a row; you’ll miss that second shot for sure. Time your shots carefully, and you’ll maximize your chances of success.
