2022 NBA Championship Odds
The NBA Playoffs had just begun and already kicked things off with a bang. The shiny, shimmering, and splendid championship trophy is once again just sitting in the corner, patiently waiting for whoever comes out on top.
This season, we are seeing some of the greatest players having the best year of their careers. From MVP favorites like Embiid, Jokic, and Giannis to rising superstars like Morant, Booker, Doncic, and Tatum, the competition for the championship is surely a must-watch for NBA fans.
With that being said, what are the chances of each team that is participating in this year’s playoffs? Let’s find out!
NBA Championship Odds
Phoenix Suns

Odds: +255
Lead by: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, DeAndre Ayton
It is no surprise that Phoenix is the favorite to win it all since they are the best team in the regular season. They surpassed their previous win-loss record (62-20) with a much better record this season – 64 wins and 18 losses. But, teams and players become different beasts come playoff time. By that, I won’t count out the others just yet.
Milwaukee Bucks

Odds: +475
Lead by: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday
All of the Bucks’ stars are completely healthy coming into the playoffs. Subsequently, they are a scary team both offensively and defensively. As the reigning champs, they are still a favorite to win the chip again this year.
Brooklyn Nets

Odds: +600
Lead by: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Seth Curry
Two of the best yet controversial players today are leading an already scary Nets team. As the 7th seed, they will be facing a Tatum-led Celtics in the first round. Not to disrespect the 2nd seed Boston Celtics, but the Nets could outperform them and make a huge upset.

Odds: +850
Lead by: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart
The C’s are the best defensive team in the league today and they are equally as good on the offensive side. They’ve got all the skills and talent to match that of other contenders.
Golden State Warriors

Odds: +850
Lead by: Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins
The Dubs are back with a vengeance! With their big three healthy and available to play, they are looking once again to replicate their championship runs just a few years ago.
Miami Heat

Odds: +1000
Lead by: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson
Miami is a perfectly balanced team. As the top seed in the tight Eastern Conference, they were consistently dominating their opponents on both ends of the floor. Additionally, head coach Erik Spoelstra is already a Playoff-tested coach.
Memphis Grizzlies

Odds: +1300
Lead by: Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., Desmond Bane, Steven Adams
Even with Morant sidelined by the end of the regular season, the Grizzlies were still winning a lot of games. This just goes to show that they have a lot of young talented and skilled guys on their roster.
Philadelphia 76ers

James Harden and Joel Embiid, Photo Courtesy of sixerswire.usatoday.com
Odds: +1400
Lead by: Joel Embiid, James Harden, Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris
The Kobe-Shaq-Esque duo of Embiid and Harden is one of the best in the NBA. Although Harden seems to struggle as of late, the Sixers are still a huge threat to the championship.
Utah Jazz

Odds: +2200
Lead by: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Jordan Clarkson
Honestly, we don’t see the Utah Jazz winning it this year, let alone having a deep playoff run. There seems to be something off between Mitchell and Gobert. If rumors will be proven true, we probably will not be seeing this duo next season.
Denver Nuggets

Odds: +4000
Lead by: Nikola Jokic, Wil Barton, Aaron Gordon
Unfortunately, two of the Nuggets’ best players are both out due to injuries. This leads to Jokic being the lone star of Denver and must carry the organization alone in his shoulders. With them having to go up against a healthy and heavily experienced Warriors, they’re set for an early first-round exit.
Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic, photo courtesy of skyports.com
Odds: +4000
Lead by: Luka Doncic, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jalen Brunson
The Mavericks’ Golden Boy, Luka Doncic, is once again leading the city of Dallas to another playoff run. They’re a pretty good team, but the basketball gods just don’t favor the Luka Magic this season.
Other teams’ Odds
Minnesota Timberwolves
Odds: +7000
Lead by: Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards
Toronto Raptors
Odds: +8000
Lead by: Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam, Scottie Barnes
Chicago Bulls
Odds: +12000
Lead by: Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic
Atlanta Hawks
Odds: +12000
Lead by: Trae Young, Clint Capela, John Collins
New Orleans Pelicans
Odds: +12000
Lead by: Brandon Ingram, C.J. McCollum, Jonas Valanciunas
