A Plague Tale: Requiem’s Release Date Possibly Leaked on Xbox Store

BY JC Paredes 4 years AGO 2 MIN READ

It’s possible that the Xbox Store accidentally disclosed the release date of A Plague Tale: Requiem, which will be released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch.

Before E3 2021, A Plague Tale: Requiem was teased during Microsoft’s Xbox conference in 2017. A cloud version for Nintendo’s Switch was also revealed by Asobo Studios and Focus Home Interactive at the time of the announcement. This long-awaited sequel’s launch date has been a mystery since then. However, the Xbox Store may have accidentally revealed the date of Amicia and Hugo’s new journey.

A Plague Tale: Requiem might be launched on June 17 at the earliest.

We also can’t rule out the possibility that the verified platforms would receive it on the same day. This date falls within the launch window of the first installment. A Plague Tale: Innocence came out in mid-May 2019.

  • Xbox Store, on the other hand, incorrectly shows the game’s release date as June 17, 2021. Obviously, it was definitely never released.
  • It would be reasonable if the date had a typo because it is an informally verified date. But, this failure causes a few additional concerns when we are confident that it will be launched on that day.
  • While it’s not confirmed yet, recent leaks indicate that the game’s achievements are currently available on Xbox, suggesting that a release date confirmation might be coming soon.

No official date has been announced for A Plague Tale: Requiem yet.

However, its management has confirmed that it will be released somewhere in 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch through cloud version. As on the day of its debut, both consoles and PCs and cloud gaming will be able to access it through the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
