A Total War Saga: TROY Release Date Revealed; Epic Games Exclusive For One Year

TROY will be an Epic game exclusive for a year as reported by the Total War Twitter account.

TROY will release over Steam on 13 August 2021.

In the Blogspot, they explained that finances weren’t the only reason for this exclusive deal to happen.  Epic Games seems to be a new platform that the SAGA team feels is appropriate to experiment this. However, it doesn’t mean the rest of the games in the series will also be Epic Games exclusive in the future.

They also went on to explain how the Epic Games investment will help develop the game in a more efficient way. Also, the game will be free to keep if players claim it under the 24 hours of its release.  This was an offer which Epic Games and the studio didn’t feel like passing.
