All New BTS Solo Singles + Upcoming Events

On June 14, 2022, BTS announced their hiatus during their Festa Livestream. It has been 10 years since their debut and they have worked hard for their art as a team.

As the year 2022 is coming to an end let’s take a quick look at all the Solo singles, performances, and appearances BTS has partaken in since their hiatus as a group. And what do they have in store for us ahead?

JIN (Kim Seok-Jin)

Kim Seok-Jin is set to enlist in mandatory military service on December 13, 2022. As the eldest member of BTS, he is the first, to begin their duty as a citizen of South Korea. BigHit has encouraged fans to cheer him through heartfelt messages and pleaded to not visit his enlistment ceremony.

Post the announcement of the hiatus Jin released a single titled ‘Astronaut’ on October 28, 2022. The song has been co-written by Cris Martin. Jin joined Martin in the performance of this hit single during the music of spheres tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

RM (Kim Nam-Joon)

RM the leader of BTS released his album titled ‘Indigo’ on December 02, 2022. He said the album covers the journey of his 20s. He has released the official music video of the title track ‘Wild Flower’ and the album is receiving the expected positive response.

Apart from that RM has also worked with Balming Tiger and released the single Sexy Nukim on September 01, 2022. The track has received a wave of appreciation. It was also performed by the dance crew We Dem Boys along with Hook during Street Men Fighter’s Muse Of The Men mission. RM showed his support by sharing the dance video on his Instagram stories.

J-Hope (Jung Ho-Seok)

J-Hope has been one of the most active members since the hiatus. He released his solo album ‘Jack In The Box’ with tracks ‘More’ and ‘Arson’ on July 01, 2022. The track ‘Arson’ was performed by the dance crew Bank II Brothers along with Proudmon during Street Men Fighters’ Muse Of The Men mission. Jhope showed his support for the crew through his Instagram story.

In September 2022. Jhope is featured in the title track ‘Rush Hour‘ by singer Crush. He is well-known for his song ‘Beautiful’ in the OST album of K-drama Goblin.

SUGA (Min Yoon-Gi)

Suga has been working as a producer since BTS’s hiatus announcement. He released the track ‘Our Island’ for BTS’s In The Seom in June 2022. He also created the song/ringtone ‘Over The Horizon’ for Samsung.

Jungkook (Jeon Jung-Kook)

The Maknae of BTS Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth on his track ‘Left And Right. They have previously worked with each other on ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’ where Jungkook did a special feature and they performed it during 28 Genie Music Awards.

Recently, Jungkook released the single ‘Dreamers‘ for the FIFA World Cup 2022. He did a live performance in the opening ceremony and achieved the title of most streamed solo artist.

 V (Kim Tae-Hyung)

Kim Taehyung appeared in JTBC’s show ‘In The Soop: Friendcation’ along with his close friends, Choi Woo-Shik, Park Seo-Joon, Park-Hyun-Sik, and Rapper Peakboy. Their friendship is well-known since they worked together in K-drama Hwarang: the poet warrior’. The former is available to stream on Disney+ and later on Netflix.

Jimin (Park Ji-Min)

Park Jimin has been busy with his schedule since the hiatus. Today, he departed for Japan for the same reason. But all through their busy schedule, he has made sure to show his support for the new ventures of his members.

BTS’s Upcoming Events

  • Suga debuted as a talkshow host with ‘Suchwita’. Its first episode with guest RM is available to watch through BTS’s official YouTube channel.
  • J-Hope is going to do a guest appearance in the show &Team Gakuen.
  • BTS’s documentary titled ‘BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star’ is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023.
