How to Unlock Boost Kick in Armored Core 6

  • Finish playing through Chapter 1 in Armored Core 6 and get to the Arena. From there, you will gain access to the OS (Operating System) Tuning option.

  • You will need one OS Tuning Chip to unlock the Boost Kick combat perk. You should be able to collect this in-game currency by completing the Arena Missions.

  • Confirm the upgrade by clicking OK from the menu. Now, you can use the Boost Kick as a part of your arsenal.

How to Use Boost Kick

Hard Lock

  • Firstly, you will need to hard lock onto your opponents in order to use this move. While this melee move might look easy from a distance, it is actually quite hard to pull off.
Assault Boost

  • Once you are locked on, you should sprint towards your enemy using the Assault Boost until you are totally close to its body.
Final Kick

  • Finally, finish off the attack with a heavy kick to the body. The sprinting speed, combined with the bulky weight of your mech, allows this melee attack to inflict massive damage on the adversaries.
  • This move is particularly useful when you want to apply stagger hits on your opponents.
  • Once unlocked, this perk gets directly added to your moveset. You can easily acquire it towards the start of the game, and it should prove helpful during the later stages.
