“Avatar 2: The Way of Water” Teaser Trailer Released in CinemaCon 2022; Coming This December
The Avatar’s most awaited Sequel is finally here! In today’s CinemaCon 2022 presentation, Director James Cameron gave away the first 3D teaser trailer for the sequel. More so, the film already has a title which will be called Avatar: The Way of Water.
With its success in 2010, the film was already being planned with a sequel. It was previously announced that the next installment in the Avatar franchise would be in 2014, but it never saw the light of day in the said schedule. Almost after 8 years of being postponed, it’s finally confirmed and will be coming to theaters on December 16, 2022.
An initial plan to make 4 more Avatar movies are also in talks. Avatar 3 is reported to be released on December 2023. Meanwhile, Avatar 4 and 5 will be filmed consecutively after Avatar 3 hits the theaters.

Some actors will also be returning in the sequel like Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, CCH Pounder, and Giovanni Ribisi. In addition to that, some new faces will also join the already star-studded cast. These actors are Kate Winslet, Edie Falco, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Cliff Curtis, and Jermaine Clement.
Cameron, together with Disney Studios showed the attendees of the event a trailer featuring the breathtaking fictional world of Pandora.
A decade after the events of Avatar 1, the tribe of Na’Vi is still thriving in this world, thanks to Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). But, until when are they safe? What could be in store for Jake and the Na’Vi tribe?

2022 is definitely the year of huge blockbusters. With the release of Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness on May 6, and the Avatar: The Way of Water’s launch before Christmas, movie fans sure has a lot to look out for.
