Blizzard Is Violating Consumer Rights By Not Refunding Warcraft 3 Reforged & Banning Users
Warcraft 3 Reforged has been amidst a lot of controversies and had a very rusty launch. The game has received a lot of criticism from the fanbase for not being up to the mark. Moreover, Blizzard has been lashed out on for not providing refunds for the game. Players have claimed that the Blizzard has apparently misrepresented things in the trailer, which is a clear violation of the laws in a number of countries.
To make things worse, Blizzard has started banning players who have been helping others with the refund process. A few players made posts on Blizzard community on the proper way to request a refund to get it approved. However, it seems like Blizzard has started banning those players who have been doing that. Users resorted to the chat system to get a refund but were denied.
Furthermore, users have been vocal about how Blizzard is infringing laws. The user says :-
“Generally, false advertising laws say that consumers have proved their case if they show: (a) that the advertising was false or misleading; (b) that the falsity was “material,” often meaning the company lied about something important; © the consumer saw the false advertisement; and (d) the consumer relied on the false advertising in purchasing the product or service.

The biggest evidence of False Advertisement (ie “bait and Switch”) is seen here, in The Culling of Stratholme video. Note that Pre-orders were available prior to this footage being seen, and Blizzard allowing this footage out is a form of advertisement.”
