The footwear giant collaborates with DreamWorks’ beloved Ogre to create another classic yet iconic slip-on shoes. Here’s everything you should know about these kicks.
Shrocs: Shrek and Crocs collaborate for a new swampy clog design
Crocs isn’t new to collaborating with other popular franchises. The Colorado-based footwear company has previously developed designs with the NBA, Lightning McQueen (Cars), Star Wars, Pokemon, Sonic the Hedgehog, and most recently, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie. A week later, after the announcement of a Crocs and Shrek team-up, the shoes will finally hit the shelves.

The new Crocs clunky shoe boasts a hue of neon green, just like Shrek’s skin color. In addition to that, the shoes feature a furry brown heel strap to mimic Shrek’s brown turtle-designed mini-vest. The Classic Shrek Clog also comes in with Jibbitz charms resembling the character’s iconic facial features, like his bulbous nose and tube-like ears. By getting one, who knows, maybe you’ll finally find your one true love, perhaps a princess stuck in a tower?
Shrek Crocs: Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy
We know that just like Fiona and Donkey (or even Lord Farquuad), you’re also dying to have a pair of the new Shrek Crocs. Well, you are just on time. The new Shrek-inspired classic clogs can now be bought in the Crocs store. The slip-on shoe will be available for everybody by 12:00 PM EST on Wednesday, September 13.

Illumination’s CEO teases five films – Shrek 5, Donkey spinoff, and more
Illumination Entertainment’s CEO Chris Meledandri sat for an interview with Variety for The Super Mario Bros. Movie promotions released on April 5. He also teased several new movies and sequels, including follow-ups to his Sing and Secret Life of Pets franchises and original films like this fall’s Migration. He also mentioned Shrek 5 and Donkey spinoff as the creative partner of DreamWorks Animation.

Chris Meledandri shared his ambitions of furthering the universe of many successful franchises. He shared that the team at Illumination Entertainment is working to format a plan for various movies, including Sing and Secret Life of Pets.
He also shared his hopes to reassemble the original cast of Shrek, including Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy, for another film and create a Donkey spinoff.
