Crysis Website & Facebook Page Updated With Tease, Turns Out To Be An April Fools Joke
Crysis Remaster is being eagerly awaited by gamers all around the world. Crytek, on the other hand, have been giving bits and pieces of vague information about it. This was teased in the CryEngine trailer as well. Today, Crytek updated its Facebook page and website (crysis.com) with a graphically enhanced picture of Nomad from the first Crysis game.

However, there is a catch. We decided to dig in the update a bit because it felt a bit off all of a sudden. On visiting the website and clicking on Inspect Element, we found that the website has a meta tag in the header called “April Fool”. That pretty much confirms that this was a joke.
Whether a new Crysis game or a remaster is in the works is unknown. Some leakers have said that they are working on the game but take it with a grain of salt.
