Everyone purchasing a PS4 copy of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 will automatically get an upgrade for Sony’s next-gen console – PlayStation 5.
It works for both physical disc owners and digital downloaders. Once the PS5 launches, you can use the same PS4 disc to play the game on the next-gen console. For digital players, the game will be available in your PS5 library.
Additionally, a remastered version (or an upgrade) of Cyberpunk 2077 for the next-gen consoles will be free for you. This version will be fully optimized for the next-gen consoles. So, it’s a win-win situation.
This will work for Xbox One players as well, thanks to Xbox’s Smart-Delivery system. Just buy a copy of the game for one of the consoles – Xbox One or Xbox Series X, and you can play it on whichever. This allows you to play without having to buy two copies for each console.
Another interesting news, publications, and gaming media outlets from across the globe will publish their opinions and previews on Cyberpunk 2077, based on a new build, starting June 25th, right after the Night City Wire event. This will allow us to learn more about the game and get a perspective of how the game is shaping up.
