Depp VS. Heard Trial: Model Kate Moss Set to Testify; Who Is She?

Kate Moss, Johnny Depp’s ex-girlfriend, will testify in the defamation trial of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp on Wednesday. Given that Depp’s team of lawyers has been preparing for this moment, her presence in the trial is highly anticipated.

It has been revealed by insiders close to Depp that Moss would appear via video conference in Fairfax, Virginia, to testify about the alleged violent relationship he had with Moss throughout their relationship in the 1990s, which was highlighted by Amber during one of her testimonies.

Who is Kate Moss?

• Supermodel Katherine Ann Moss, better known by her stage name Kate Moss, is presently 48 years old and has worked with businesses like Mango and collaborated with many brands of clothes, beauty, and accessories.
• The 14-year-old Moss was discovered in 1988 at JFK International Airport by Sarah Daukas (founder of Storm modeling agency).
• At 15, Kate Moss made her runway debut with Gibraltarian designer John Galliano during London Fashion Week in 2007. Since then, she has been on the catwalks of Paris and other major cities.

As her appearance in the Calvin Klein Obsession advertising campaign in 1993 grew in prominence, she began to garner notoriety. Companies were drawn to her because of her unusual appearance, which defied the traditional standards of beauty at the time.

To name a few, Kate Moss has worked with brands such as Vogue Eyewear and TopShop as well as Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. She has also collaborated for Versace and Dolce & Gabbana as well as David Yurman, Longchamp, and Mango. Burberry and Dior were her final two employers.

Kate Moss and Johnny Depp’s Relationship

Kate Moss and Johnny Depp started dating in 1994 and broke up in 1998 because of their respective work schedules. Thousands of their fans were hurt by their split from one of the most well-known pairs at the time.

Despite the charges being dismissed, he had to compensate the hotel $9,767.12, more than $2,000 in damages, and remain out of trouble for six months, according to People magazine.

Opening the Door for Kate Moss

An incident in which Depp allegedly “swung” at Whitney Henriquez as she was standing near the stairs was referred to in court during Heard’s testimony. It’s worth noting that Heard was the catalyst for the model’s involvement in the case. When she described an argument between Depp and her sister, Heard claimed it “reminded” her of a story that Depp supposedly shoved Moss down the stairs.

Because of Heard’s statements, the model’s inclusion in the list of witnesses was hailed by Depp’s legal team in court, given that Moss reportedly never claimed that such a thing happened. In the past, Moss has claimed that she and the actor had a good relationship. The reference made, nevertheless, permitted the model to be presented as a rebuttal witness to Heard’s claims.
