Destiny 2: Love and Death, Gatehouse Location

To make it easier for you to locate the Bound Manacle, we’ve put together a simple guide that shows you exactly where to look for the Gatehouse!

Bound Manacle – Gatehouse

• Thankfully, this one is fairly simple to locate. Head to the northern portion of the Moon, to a place called Hellmouth, from Sanctuary. Continue until you reach the very northern end of the huge pit. You’ll find a large structure with entrances on both sides that lead to Hellmouth. You’ll soon discover yourself in The Gatehouse if you take this route, but you’re not quite there yet!
• You will come across a gang of Acolytes, then continue on to another team of Acolytes in a room with spires, and finally towards a more ornate chamber. If you have the Essence of Insanity, you can discover a yellow-bar Hive Knight with a snazzy name. You’ll immediately get the Bound Manacle once you annihilate him!

• It isn’t difficult to defeat Erath’ur, but because his energy protection isn’t attributed to any particular element, there isn’t an instant way to destroy it. All you have to do now is chip away at him while maintaining a safe distance and avoiding being swamped by other Hive in the area. Bring along a friend or two to increase your chances of winning.
• The Love and Death grenade launcher is waiting for you thereafter, and your Essence of Insanity is fully prepared. Grenade launchers remain among the strongest for DPS, and Love and Death can roll with unique and powerful massive bonus combos, so grinding this Essence is especially worthwhile.
