About transmog in Diablo 4
Introduced in the Reaper of Souls expansion pack, transmogrification is supplied by the Mystic artisan and is made in order to improve a hero’s customization. Players can change the appearance of their armor and weapons through transmogrification without losing any of their power or potency.
Transmogrified items can be colored in the same way that usual items can (and keep the dye that has already been applied). The only expense is gold, which is merely 500 for the ordinary item and 50,000 for the legendary item transformation. Additionally, the cost of weapons increases by up to 50,000 gold if the user wants them to look like high-leveled weapons.
