Carmina, who worked with Eric Fructuoso in the ‘90s sitcom Palibhasa Lalake, asked the actor if it were true that he had a romance with Toni Gonzaga before.

Though unexpected, Eric answered the question directly and admitted to the relationship.

“Parang ‘di ko naexpect ‘yon ah… Oo, meron,” he responded.

Shocked, Carmina tried to confirm again if they had a thing, to which Eric said, “Yes, before.” She went to inquire again, asking if he first had a relationship with Claudine Barretto or Toni. The comedian then cleared that he had a romance with Claudine before Toni.
For starters, Claudine admitted she had a past relationship with Eric in a 2015 episode of the now-defunct ABS-CBN late-night comedy talk show Gandang Gabi, Vice! However, the actress didn’t reveal further details, like when it happened.

“Siguro rough estimate—lahat-lahat kasama na ‘yung wala lang tsaka ‘yung may commitment—mga three, almost three years, mga gano’n,” he revealed, answering Carmina’s together about the length of their relationship.

When asked the reason behind the breakup, Eric stressed that he wasn’t a womanizer and loved his exes, but they woke up to the truth one day. So, as to what truth he was referring to, Eric didn’t give further details.
