A clip showing Sean “Diddy” Combs physically assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura is now going viral on the internet. The video, which was exclusively obtained by CNN, revealed that the allegations of physical abuse towards the hip-hop icon are very true. The footage was from a series of different CCTV cameras dated March 6, 2016. At the time, Diddy and Cassie were still in a relationship, but it was already in shambles before they officially called it off in 2018.
The disturbing video showed Cassie walking towards the elevators when a half-naked Diddy ran after her in the hall. After catching up, the famous rapper struck his ex-girlfriend on the back of her head and threw her to the floor. Afterwards, Combs seemed to pick up a few things and continued kicking Ventura in the head.
The incident took place in a now-closed InterContinental Hotel at Beverly Hills, Century City, Los Angeles. There are rumors that Diddy paid the security $50,000 to make sure the footage did not come out. Unfortunately for him, the video still came out years later.
Viral video proves Cassie Ventura’s 2023 lawsuit against Diddy
Back in November 2023, Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against the record producer in federal court. In the lawsuit, Cassie accused Diddy of r*pe, beating, and trafficking her, as well as many more abusive actions throughout their 11-year relationship.
Allegedly, the record producer plied her with drugs, beat her several times a year, forced her to sleep with other men while he watched and filmed, and r*ped her when she broke up with him for the last time in 2018. Meanwhile, Ventura tried to leave Combs on multiple occasions, but the business mogul would react violently.
However, Diddy denied all of Cassie’s allegations. Both have reportedly reached an undisclosed settlement.
