Dying Light 2 is an action role-playing game released by Techland. After its initial release last February 2, 2022, Techland promises Dying Light players various post-launch content. The first post-launch content players get is the free DLC featuring new parkour challenges.
After the Flying Scorpion Challenge, take on four more parkour challenges in Dying Light 2
The first of the parkour challenges released is the Flying Scorpion Challenge. But in the newly released parkour challenges, players can take on four more stages. Check out the trailer below for a brief overview of the free DLC and what it has in store for players.
In a press release from Techland, they gave brief descriptions of what each challenge contains.
- Suspension of Disbelief – This challenge will test your wall-running skills in the heart of Central Loop!
- Grakour – This challenge in Old Villedor will check all your basic skills so don’t make any mistakes or you’ll be kissing the gold medal goodbye!
- Stroll on the River – Ready to get soaked?
- My Whole World is a Glider – Fly Pilgrim… Fly high over the chemical areas and try not to fall, or at least not too hard!
However, it seems parkouring isn’t the only skill needed. From the trailer and the descriptions of the challenges, players need other skills than hopping from building to building and leaping over hordes of zombies.
Rewards for completing the challenges
The challenges will test players’ wall-running and gliding skills. But even though the challenges seem grueling, they won’t reward the players with anything. However, players can look forward to more post-launch content in the roadmap Techlab released for Dying Light 2. They plan on releasing content over the course of five years, so we’ll stay tuned to that.
