Blaidd is a non-player character in Elden Ring. He is a Half-Wolf that can be found in the Mistwood Ruins. In this guide, you’ll find info on where to find him, how to begin this NPC’s questline, and the outcomes of your choices between quests.
The name’s Blaidd. I’m looking for a man who goes by “Darriwil.”
First Blaidd Encounter
Meet Melina and gain access to the leveling system. To obtain the Spirit Calling Bell, go to the Elleh Church and speak with Renna. Blaidd can be found wailing at the top of the wrecked tower at the Mistwood Ruins in East Limgrave.
Return to Elleh’s Church and speak with Kale about the screaming guy. You’ll get the Finger Snap from Kale.
Return to the Mistwood Ruins and use the ‘Finger Snap’ on Blaidd. When you’re near him, do the gesture. Blaidd will then drop down from the tower, and interact with him.
When you speak with Blaidd, he’ll inform you that he’s on the lookout for someone named Darriwil.
Second Blaidd Encounter
In East Limgrave, visit the Forlorn Hound Evergaol. Activate the surrounding pedestal to enter a boss arena, then touch the nearby summon sign to enlist Blaidd’s assistance in defeating Darriwil.

Blaidd can be spotted standing to the side of the arena after defeating Darriwil. Make contact with him. For your assistance in discovering Darriwil, Blaidd will reward you with a Somber Smithing Stone. Speak with Blaidd again, he’ll mention a blacksmith on the Road to the Manor.
The Road may be found in the northwestern region of Liurnia of the Lakes, where War Counselor Iji can be found. Tell him Blaidd sent you, and the Carian Filigreed Crest will become available for purchase.
Third Blaid Encounter
To continue Blaidd’s quest, go to the tower in Liurnia of the Lakes’ northeastern sector and speak with Renna the Witch. The tower may be found in Three Sisters, notably in the Ranni’s Rise tower. To begin a new questline, speak with Renna, who will instruct you to meet Blaidd in Siofra River.
However, be aware that you will have to fight your way through the Carian Manor in order to reach Ranni’s Rise. To get to the Siofra River, take the elevator located just east of the Mistwood Ruins.
Make your way through the damaged temple to another elevator that will take you to the top.
- Pass the crabs and take a break at the Site of Grace, then proceed north past the ancestral followers to reach Blaidd near the cliff’s edge. When you speak with him, he’ll remark that Seluvis could know how to travel to the city of Nokron.
- Return to Seluvis’ Rise at the Three Sisters for further information. Seluvis will tell you that a sorceress might be able to help you figure out what to do next. To find Sorceress Sellen, go to the Waypoint Ruins and enter the cellar.
Eternal City
- Sellen will inform you that the road to Nokron is now closed and that the only way to go there is to fight Radahn, who is currently stationed in Caelid. This is part of the main plot, so start exploring Caelid and progressing in that area to get to Radahn if you haven’t already.
- A cinematic will play once you defeat Radahn. To go to Fort Haight, return to East Limgrave. Near Fort Haight, you’ll see a big hole in the earth. To find the entrance to Nokron, the Eternal City, descend into the hole.
FRIEND-FOE
Return to Ranni’s Rise once you’ve completed Ranni’s questline and you’ll find Blaidd outside the entrance, hostile. If you defeat him, you will receive his Greatsword and armor set. If you speak with Iji the blacksmith, you’ll learn that he imprisoned Blaidd for his own safety after becoming insane from grief over Ranni’s disappearance.
