Elden Ring: Game Duration + New Official Gameplay Revealed

More official details regarding what FromSoftware has in store for Elden Ring are revealed as the release date draws near.

The Elden Ring gameplay showcased at the recent Taipei Game Show can be seen below for your viewing pleasure. Some of the footage will be familiar from previous teasers and the closed beta that took place in November. However, there are also some surprises in store, such as monsters, levels, equipment, and armor that were previously undisclosed.

How long will it take to finish the game?

The duration of Elden Ring was mentioned in an interview with FromSoftware producer Yasuhiro Kitao. Kitao has said that the main story may be completed in 30 hours or less, but that the time would vary greatly depending on the individual players involved.

It is of course assured that the game’s content will provide many hours of enjoyment and that the massive world does not need to be fully explored to complete it.

The Gold Phase

“Elden Ring was originally slated for release in January of this year, and it has been pushed back once to February. But please be assured, the title will be ready for sale on February 25. The master version has already been submitted, and right now, the team is working on a day one patch to make sure everything in the game is just so.”
