Elden Ring: Grave Warden Duelist, How To Beat

There are a few Elden Ring optional bosses you can choose to either fight or avoid. One of which is the Grave Warden Duelist. There are also three Grave Glovewort, an upgrade resource, in the Dungeon where the boss is. Additionally, after killing this monster, players can go on a quest to find the Battle Hammer.

The exciting and intriguing boss fights are a staple of the Souls games. Optional bosses littered across The Lands Between guarantee that players’ struggles continue until they reach the next major challenge.

Grave Warden Duelist

Elden Ring’s Boss is the Grave Warden Duelist. Murkwater Catacombs are home to Grave Warden Duelist. Players do not need to fight this boss in order to progress.

Location

The Grave Warden can be found deep within Elden Ring’s Murkwater Catacombs. The dungeon is in Limgrave’s northeastern outskirts. It can be found by diving down into Agheel Lake.

The tarnished will come into a place full of slugs after defeating a large group of skeletons. To defeat them, players should use fire or stroll through until they come across a door that leads inside the Murkwater Catacombs.

After entering the Catacombs, you can visit a Site of Lost Grace.

As a result, players may rest confident that recovering lost Runes won’t need long-distance travel. When exploring the Catacombs, players should proceed onward into a narrow passage that leads to another area. Three Goblins are guarding a Lever in this room as well. Interact with the Lever to open the Grave Warden Duelist’s boss room once the tarnished has defeated them.

How To Kick His Butt

The Grave Warden Duelist is a rather simple boss to deal with. While he may seem scary at first, he has a simple battle routine that can be picked up easily. The Grave Warden will strike up to 5 times when he starts hitting.

The boss will stop swinging and walk toward the tarnished if the players roll away from his assaults. When you are far away from the Warden, he will always halt his combo. Furthermore, if you get too far away from this boss, he will spin his Hammer and fling it across the floor.

During this set of attacks, players should keep close to the Warden. Attempt to reach his back by rolling around him. He will not stop striking at this point, but he will always end his swings with a powerful plunge attack that will stop him for a second. While positioned behind him, use that moment to administer a Backstab.

After the boss is knocked down by the Critical Hit, an animation of him rising will begin, rendering him immune to all forms of damage. In the middle of the animation, players can count for a second and then completely charge their heavy strike. The Warden will receive another massive damage as a result of this.
