Lately, there are many games in which we can play a female protagonist, even online. Unlike before, in fact, the female characters are making room for themselves in the largest videogame productions. Yesterday, a post from a user appeared on Reddit asking if there would be in Call of Duty Modern Warfare the possibility of choosing a female character in multiplayer. The response from Infinity Ward was not long in coming, and it was more than affirmative.
Players will, therefore, have the opportunity to take on the role of a man or woman soldier. Let us remember that it is not the first time that you see women soldiers inside a Call of Duty. We have already seen this possibility in Modern Warfare Remastered, WWII and Black Ops 3, so it’s no wonder that Infinity Ward has made this decision also on this new chapter of the series.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare will take place in a realistic and modern environment. For the first time in the franchise’s history, Modern Warfare will support multi-platform multiplayer. Activision also confirmed that the traditional seasonal franchise subscription has been eliminated, allowing the company to distribute post-launch content for free to all players.
We recall that Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be available starting October 25th on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One but, already next week, we will be able to see it again on our screens thanks to the official reveal of the scheduled multiplayer mode.
