FIFA 23 Latest Leaks – August 31, 2022

Ahead of the September release, FIFA 23 leaks flood all over the internet. Apparently, the entire game was briefly playable on Xbox consoles. FIFA 23 is supposed to launch on September 30, 2022, but a free surprise trial may have just occurred.

FIFA 23 was previously reported to be the last game. It would mark the end of the 30-year relationship between EA Sports and FIFA. However, being the last football game landscape, EA intends to also make it the best.

New additions will be highly anticipated. These include cross-play, the World Cup, the Women’s World Cup, and, for the very first time, women’s club teams. FIFA 23 would bring an immersive matchday experience that would make the game feel more than before. And this is definitely something players cannot wait to get their hands on.

Definitely, their wish was seemingly granted as the game was suddenly playable on some Xbox consoles. According to players, the pre-load that was sent to people who have pre-ordered the game had accidentally gone live. This allowed Ultimate Edition players to launch and play the upcoming FIFA 23 game. In addition, the EA Play trial also went live and gave players access.

What was leaked from FIFA 23?

It was reported that a portion of the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition owners had access to beta testing. The entire game was unlocked while updating their version. The little mistake exposed what players are supposed to be expecting a whole month later. In addition, this mistake also had real-world implications, as FIFA 23 also ended up leaking third kits for Liverpool FC and Atlético Madrid’s upcoming season.

Moreover, Twitch user mexico07dan1 even streamed the game until it was banned. Obviously, it was too late for the game developers as the clips of the stream already spread online. It did not take long for people to post screenshots of the menu, upcoming kids, and the Ultimate Team player ratings on Twitter.

The most highly regarded leak was about the FIFA Ultimate Team. Several English Premier League teams were leaked alongside the players’ ratings. Obviously, this has led gamers to plan out their team ahead of the official launch in September.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team

Fans immediately noticed Cristiano Ronaldo, who was downgraded from 87 pace to an 81 pace. Ronaldo currently plays for Premier League club Manchester United. Overall, he is now a 90 instead of a 91. Though he is still one of the expensive players for your FIFA Ultimate Team, his notable downgrade may not be worth as much as it used to.

In addition, Ronaldo was transferred from Juventus (in Italy’s Serie A league) to Manchester United in late 2021. He was able to score 18 goals in 30 matches throughout the 2021-2022 seasons. This is lower compared to 29 and 31 goals in 33 matches in the previous seasons.

Other players that were also leaked include 91-rated players. These include Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, Karim Benzema, Kevin De Bruyne, and Robert Lewandowski. With Ronaldo being downgraded to the 90-rated group, he is enlisted alongside world-class footballers such as Mohamed Salah, Manuel Neuer, and Virgil van Dijk.

FIFA 23 early launch perks

As previously mentioned, FIFA 23 is officially launched on September 30. However, pre-ordering the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition grants the fans three-day early access which starts on September 27. Players receive 4,600 FIFA Points to spend on their Ultimate Team, a FUT Ones to Watch Player Item, a Team of the Week 1 Player, and cover star Kylian Mbappé as a Loan Item for 5 matches.

FIFA 23 is out September 30 on PC,  PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
