Forspoken: Release Date, Trailer, All Details
Spring 2021 Square Enix Presents has bought in the most unexpected title, Forspoken. With some of the best-known series like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, the dark and mature theme of Forspoken sure promises a lot. So far, the game has received tons of positive responses.
Sadly, news pieces on Forspoken are quite scanty. Formerly, it was known as Project Athia. It was under the radar with only a few short trailers on the internet; till its official debut was announced by Square Enix Presents. Still not much is available on the same, except we do have an inkling that it has Action RPG, vivid gory violence, high graphical fidelity, and graphic language used.
With the announcement of the title, Forspoken, a short trailer was released alongside in March. The trailer provides an intriguing sneak-peak into the game’s astounding graphics and storyline. Using the AMD technology, environmental details are minutely detailed; the fluid movement of the lead character sure catches everyone’s attention.
More than just monsters
But while the trailer gives us a good glimpse of the game’s astounding graphics; it tells very little of the aim of protagonists other than fighting monsters.
- Square Enix then revealed that players are in for a treat as they will step into “thrilling, otherworldly adventure” as Frey and “face treacherous trials” when they discover the mysteries of Athia and “awaken something much more from within”.
- Square Enix first revealed Forspoken at Sony’s PS5 games in 2020 and Forspoken, for now, remains exclusively a PS5 console title. For now, it is hard to predict if Forspoken will end up in Xbox Series X too but currently, the game appears to be a PS5 game.
- Furthermore, not much detail about the exact release date of Forspoken. It will release in 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PC, thereby making it exclusively a PS5 console game.
