The Coachella event in Fortnite has just gone live and players can score amazing items, including different kinds of the Coachella Outfit. There are currently two Outfits designed after the music and arts festival. Both of these Coachella Outfits feature awesome effects in Fortnite, so it’s no surprise a lot of players are looking for a way on how to get it for free. Keep reading to find out more!
What is the Coachella Outfit in Fortnite?
Before we get into it, let’s take a quick look at the Coachella Outfit available in Fortnite now. There are actually two Outfits available in the Item Shop for a limited time. Between the both of them, we’re having a really tough time choosing which one is our favorite!

Fortnite released two Coachella-themed Outfits called the Sunset Alto and Desert Dawn Lyric. If you were already around during last year’s Coachella event in the game, then you may recognize these two Outfits. The new Outfits are variants of the characters that debuted at last year’s Coachella event.

By purchasing the ‘Vibing at Coachella’ bundle, players receive the following:
- Sunset Alto Outfit
- Sunset Swirl Back Bling
- Desert Dawn Lyric Outfit
- Airflow Vibe Back Bling
- Electropalm Staff Harvesting Tool
- Crystalline Cactus Harvesting Tool
- Desert Breeze Wrap
- Coachella Island Loading Screen
Keep in mind that you need at least 2,000 V-Bucks in order to purchase the Fortnite x Coachella bundle for 2023! In our opinion, the Outfits and everything else included in the bundle look sick, especially with how they react to music!
How to get it for free
Technically, you can get the Coachella Outfit and the other items in the bundle for free by using the V-Bucks you earned in the Battle Pass.
- Fortnite gives its players around 1,500 V-Bucks by completing whatever pass is live for the current season. You can always use your extra V-Bucks to purchase any of the two Coachella Outfits in the Fortnite Item Shop.
- It’s not necessary for you to purchase the entire bundle, so you can still have extra V-Bucks for other cosmetics you want to buy!

Another way for players to get the Coachella bundle for free is by taking part in giveaways. Fortnite content creators, big or small, always host giveaways whenever a new item or bundle comes out in the Item Shop. It’s highly likely that content creators are hosting giveaways for the Coachella Outfit since the special effects are awesome.

One example of a Fortnite x Coachella giveaway that recently concluded is from Castgfishy on Twitter. They actively host all kinds of Fortnite giveaways on Twitter. If you are interested in participating, all you have to do is follow the instructions in their tweet. After doing what the host asks, they will then randomly select a lucky winner and announce it on their Twitter account.
There are also Fortnite content creators on YouTube who host giveaways for their subscribers. All you have to do is tune in, like, and leave a comment for what Fortnite Outfit you want like in the video above. You can also learn other Fortnite tips and tricks by tuning in to the videos they upload!
