Over the years, a plethora of assortment of Fortnite Marvel skins such as Carnage has been incorporated into the game. Even an entire season’s battle pass has been made which is completely dedicated to the superheroes of the comic book. Now, X-Men’s Jean Grey character has been added; it is playable in Fortnite alongside the brand new Dark Phoenix Skin and Phoenix Force set.
- Some of the Marvel skins that are incorporated in Fortnite either are based on their respective comic or inspired by the movie adaptations of the characters. Nevertheless, most of the characters introduced and the Marvel skins have been altered and modified slightly to fit the game’s visual style better.
- Currently in its eighteenth season, Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 8 began mid-September and this chapter has seen the inclusion of various intriguing crossovers. To name a few, skins were influenced by Ariana Grande, League of Legends’ Jinx skin, and also MCU’s Venom skin was added. Recently, it also made an official announcement through a graphic about the Fortnite Naruto crossover event.
In a surprise announcement, Epic Games revealed the addition of the Dark Phoenix costume to Fortnite. This new outfit inclusion allows players to go 2x more powerful as the X-Men character Jean Grey when they go into battles. This new skin is included in the newly introduced Phoenix Force set which has been named after Grey’s alternate persona.

The loading screen can be purchased with the bundle. However, the emote is separately sold in the Fortnite item shop.
- Just like other Marvel skins that have been added, this skin has slight modifications been made in order to fit the game visuals perfectly. The X-Men franchise seems to be in a state of limbo.
- It does not come as a surprise that Epic would release a version of Dark Phoenix that is inspired by the comics and not the movie franchise. That being said, the skin looks amazing and the Phoenix Force set is sure to dazzle up the game.
