The latest Fortnite update brings us yet another crossover, this time with the highly popular anime Jujutsu Kaisen. You will be able to collect exclusive cosmetics from the series while wielding the powers of the characters in the form of a limited-time gameplay event. You also get to participate in the thrilling Jujutsu Kaisen Cup tournament and accumulate points to win prizes. In this article, we are going to list the necessary details regarding this competition. What is the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup in Fortnite?
The Jujutsu Kaisen Cup is an exclusive limited-time tournament in Fortnite that will take place on August 11, 2023. The event is part of the collaboration between Fortnite and the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.
- The competition is going to follow the format of Duos Zero Build. This means you will have to play as a team of two in the Battle Royale mode without building enabled, like your classic battle royale game.
- The newly introduced limited-time cursed techniques will be usable in this tournament. This is going to make the combat more compelling.
- Players will get a three-hour time window to take part in the event. The timing is going to be based on the local time zone that you can check out from the in-game “Compete” tab. A team/player can play a maximum of 10 matches in the tournament.
How to Join
- You will be able to join the tournament from the in-game menu once the event goes live at the designated time.
- You must follow the rules and regulations below to participate in the tournament.
Eligibility Criteria
- For the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup, all eligible players on a Duos team must have advanced into Bronze Rank (or higher) in the applicable Ranked Mode in their respective server region (“Region”) by the start of the Jujutsu Kaisen Cup to be eligible to queue up and compete during the Event window as listed in-game.
- To be eligible to participate in any Event match, a player must be at least 13 years old (or such other age, if greater, as may be required in such player’s country of residence).
- If a player is under 18 years of age or the age of majority as defined in such player’s country of residence (a “Minor”), such player must have permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in the Event.

- Players with Epic Games Cabined Accounts are ineligible to participate in or receive any prizes connected to the Event.
- Ineligible players who mislead or attempt to mislead Event Administrators by providing false eligibility information will be subject to disciplinary actions.
- Each player must enable (if not already enabled) Two-Factor Authentication (“2FA”) on his or her Epic Account.
- The Event is not open to individuals using iOS devices.
- A player’s Epic Account must be level fifteen (15) or above.
- Players must refrain from verbal harassment and illegal conduct.
